*Community Peace Tree: Take-home Kit, all ages
This take-home kit offers a self-guided opportunity to pause, reflect, and share messages of kindness and connection through art. The Community Peace Tree invites residents of all ages to come together and highlight the beauty that exists within our Columbia Heights community!

Each kit includes a small vine wreath, wooden sign, and other decorative items to help you get started. Make it your own with items from home! On the wooden sign, you are invited to share a message of hope, kindness, or strength you see in our community. Instructions, supplies, and ideas are included with every kit.

All ages, $5 per kit
• Kit Pick-up Location: Murzyn Hall Recreation office, 530 Mill St. NE
• Pick-up dates & Times: Monday-Friday, April 27-May 1, 9am-5pm
• Return Deadline: May 8 by 4:30pm at the Recreation Office in Murzyn Hall

Can’t pick-up in person?
Register for Community Peace Tree: Door-Drop. Participants will be notified by e-mail with delivery information.

Where will I see them?
Finished wreaths will be displayed on the tree outside the Recreation Office side door, between the trellis and stairs leading down the hill. 530 Mill St. NE, Columbia Heights

You are welcome to visit the tree, reflect on the messages shared, take photos, and spend a moment connecting with the strength and kindness of our community.
